sculpture process post

I finished making the main clay structure of my sculpture, focusing on making the shape of the four people holding hand into a sphere-like structure. So far, my biggest challenge is making sure that the structure is well supported enough to stand on its own, which it is a little weak right now, but hopefully after drying, it will stand up better. The next few studio days, I hope to make a wooden stand that would help my piece fit the 1 foot criteria, and carve the other wooden details on my sculpture. Overall, I feel like I made a good amount of progress and the proportions are pretty well matched to what I had visualized.
