process post: project #8 part 2

The process has gone a little slower than expected because of AP testing, but I’m really proud of how the piece is developing so far. I think the hair will probably take the longest since it’s usually the most repetitive and tedious part of painting figures for me. I’m also hoping to incorporate gold leaf details into the clothing to add more texture and visual interest, although time may be too tight to complete that before the critique. If needed, though, I can always continue refining and adding those details afterward.
