oil painting process post

I’m really happy with how my piece is coming along so far! It’s been great working with a medium I’m comfortable with, even though this is my first time oil painting. It actually feels a lot like working with acrylics, which has made the transition smoother. The most challenging part for me has been finding the perfect paint consistency—getting the right balance with the oil paint and turp so it doesn’t run off the canvas or become too thick and dark. Overall, I’m really satisfied with my progress and excited to continue building layers and developing the piece further.
