oil painting process #2

I’ve finished my grisaille painting, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The values in the leaves could use a little more work, and the lid of the vase is just a bit off, but overall, I’m pleased with it. I’ve started adding the first layer of color with glaze, and while the color is pretty close, it will need more layers and a bit more color to look more accurate. I am very happy with this piece and super excited to move forward :)
