This figure drawing experience was really engaging because it gave us more time to practice and build on the skills we learned in Art 3. I especially enjoyed experimenting with the subtractive drawing technique because it’s very different from my usual approach and made the highlights stand out really well. I do think I could improve on keeping my proportions more accurate and focusing on the overall structure before getting caught up in the details and working more subtractively. Overall, it was an amazing opportunity to work with a live model and refine my skills through focused practice and drills.
